A Journal, with Pictures

The Thanks­giv­ing fes­tiv­i­ties start­ed on Tues­day when Ray (Joyce’s broth­er) from Cal­i­for­nia and his com­pan­ion Sue arrived. Wednes­day Jen­nifer, Mike and Alexan­dra drove up from Flori­da and we all went to one of our favorite restau­rants for din­ner. Thurs­day Hei­di, Gary, Brenn, Caitlin and Kin­sey Pra­do joined us from Savan­nah. There were crafts for the girls, Brenn played catch with his dad, lat­er movies for the kids in the play room, while the adults start­ed the foot­ball view­ing and of course lots of food and drink. This year we had a sep­a­rate chil­dren’s table so the chil­dren and the adults would have deci­bel sep­a­ra­tion. Jen­nifer and Hei­di assist­ed Joyce in the prepa­ra­tion of the feast, which fea­tured the tra­di­tion­al turkey with all the fix­ins. After din­ner the foot­ball con­tin­ued with the Prado’s return­ing to Savan­nah in the evening. It was a great fam­i­ly Thanksgiving.
