A Journal, with Pictures

Our best friend Bruce Edwards was being hon­ored by the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia, Davis (Cal Aggie) so we decid­ed to sand­wich a quick trip to Cal­i­for­nia between our Bahamas trip and a golf trip to Flori­da. Life is tough! We flew to Los Angels, to vis­it Joyce’s broth­er Ray and his com­pan­ion Sue on Feb­ru­ary sec­ond. We spend the day and next morn­ing in L.A., then flew to San Fran­cis­co, then drove to Sono­ma. We had a great vis­it with Ray and Sue and enjoyed their view of Catali­na Island from their deck and some good Cal­i­for­nia sea food. The trip to S.F. was excit­ing, get­ting to dri­ve in rush hour traf­fic on Fri­day night across the Gold­en Gate Bridge, thank­ful­ly, we had a great meal and good bot­tle of wine as our reward.
