Saturday

Saturday started with breakfast on your own at the Ocean Reef Club, which was first class. At 9:00 AM Chuck Daneko, from Winslow Raft Co. presented a hour presentation on water survival. This was followed by a demonstration of raft deployment and boarding in the Lagoon.
The rest of Saturday was spent exploring, shopping and relaxing at Ocean Reef, leading up to cocktails and dinner.
Cocktails and dinner were next to the lagoon during a perfect evening.
Sunday morning the COPA pilots headed in all directions, to the keys to pick up stone crab, back to the the mid-west to beat the weather, to home on the east coast and in our case to Ft. Lauderdale to visit our daughter, son-in-law and grand daughter. A great week-end thanks to Dennis and Jill. Monday we flew back to Hilton Head, SC to unpack from our migration from Dayton, Ohio and to settle in at our winter headquarters. Hopefully the new COPA friends we made this weekend will visit us. Life is good in COPA land. (See list of registered attendees on the next page).
